Spider is a Master of Subterfuge

Spider is a Master of Subterfuge:

Researchers from the Tambopata Research Center in Peru think they've discovered a new type of spider from the genus Cyclosa. This genus is known to create distractions or attractions for predators or prey using collected debris placed in their webs. Pictured above is a "decoy" spider that the much smaller occupant of the web created using matter it scavenged from the rainforest. The spider then made its creation move when the web was approached. If this is indeed a new species of Cyclosa, it is the first variety known to construct a larger model of itself for protection.

Crash Bandicoot in Real Life [Video]

Crash Bandicoot in Real Life [Video]:
This is just too cool. The only thing I wish they had gone was get him to get on one of the jumpy boxes – use a trampoline or something? I guess that would have been a bit hard to do…but this video is still way cool. I love it when he lands on the Nitro. I miss that game…*goes to pull out PS1*

Pretty much everyone came back for the Freaks and Geeks reunion photo

Pretty much everyone came back for the Freaks and Geeks reunion photo:
Judd Apatow is guest-editing the first comedy issue of Vanity Fair, and this means he wields slightly more power over many people than usual. That's how he got nearly every single person who has ever appeared on his cult favorite show Freaks and Geeks to come together for a really excellent reunion photo -- students, teachers, parents, they're all here! (Absent: Rashida Jones, Ben Foster, JoAnna Garcia, Ben Stiller, Leslie Mann, and Shia LeBoeuf, if we're being really technical about it.) A sneak-peek of the group shot is here, but VF has a great collection of smaller groups of the cast. A fun reminder: Freaks and Geeks went off the air in 2000. Remember that year? It feels both five minutes and one million years ago at the same time! (via Gawker)

The Real Life Totoro Cat Bus

The Real Life Totoro Cat Bus:

My Neighbor Totoro is a pretty surreal movie, but you probably didn't know is that it is actually based on a real creature, which can be seen above. Personally, I think Yun Yun is even cuter than the one in the cartoon.
