Stay Puft Snowman [Pic]:

Even though we don’t even have an inch of snow on the ground right here on the south shore of Montreal, this totally awesome-looking Stay Puft Snowman should prepare you guys (psychologically at least) for the coming of Winter. I certainly hope that there’s a thin blanket of white snow on the ground next week. A green Christmas would feel totally unnatural to me, even if I know that many of you celebrate at more than comfortable temperatures.

Microsoft's Kinectimals lands on the App Store, breaks on through to the other side

Microsoft's Kinectimals lands on the App Store, breaks on through to the other side:

Hell's apparently frozen over, pigs are indeed flying and, yes, the gods must be crazy because Microsoft Studios has just released Kinectimals, its Tamagotchi-like "mobile experience" with tiger cubs, to the App Store. The $2.99 app brings the isle of Lemuria directly to your iOS device of choice, letting you nurture these fledgling digital felines, in addition to unlocking a handful of them on a companion Xbox 360 title of the same name. It's not the first time Redmond's made its app wares available to Apple, as both OneNote and My Xbox Live have already hit earlier this month, but it certainly does signal a growing change for MS' attitude towards its mobile competition. If only Steve could see this now.

Xbox Live companion apps now available for Windows Phone and iOS

Xbox Live companion apps now available for Windows Phone and iOS:

As expected, Microsoft has made the latest version of its Xbox Companion app for Windows Phone available to coincide with the latest Xbox dashboard update -- what's not so expected is the iOS app that also rolled out today. Dubbed My Xbox Live, the iOS app (optimized for both iPhone and iPad) is expectedly a bit more limited than its Windows Phone counterpart, but it will let you read and send messages, edit your profile and update your avatar, manage your friend list, and keep an eye on your achievements (and those of your friends). The new Windows Phone app, on the other hand, brings with it a decidedly more integrated experience, including the ability to search for games, music and movies available through Xbox Live, and even second screen information that you're able to access while you're using your console. Hit the appropriate source link below to download the app of your choice.
